Director's Biography
Luke grew up on a chicken farm. Whilst these funny creatures informed his sense of humour their lack of flight disturbed him. So he headed for London to take up photography. Film however was his real passion. After graduating from AFTRS, and winning Tropfest with his film Australian Summer, he completed an AFC sponsored internship at Academy Award winning independent film production company This Is That, in New York. He has recently completed directing his first television show for SBS called Dave in the Life. Luke’s strength is capturing honest and humorous performances, whilst maintaining a strong visual aesthetic. To this day, Luke can’t eat chicken.
